Library ID & Password

To access the online resources LIRN and e.brary off campus, all library users need to enter a combination of Campus ID and Password or a PIN. Without this, you will be unable to access the online resources. Below are the instructions on how to get the PIN and use it:

e.brary Access

e.brary username is simply your VIU Student Identification Number (100000000) which can be found on your Student ID Card.
e.brary password is your user name followed by a 4-digit number
For example, if VIU Student ID Number is 100000000 and the 4-digit number you've been assigned is 8664, your e.brary password is 1000000008664

LIRN Access

LIRN PIN is 68974 followed by your VIU Student Identification Number
For example, if your Student ID No. is 100000000, your LIRN password is 68974100000000
No username is required for LIRN.
