Virginia International University's subscription to LIRN, provides students and faculty with access to over 50 databases, each of which contains thousands of periodical (magazine and newspaper) articles as well as reference books, audio-visual materials and more. Many of the periodicals covered by LIRN are peer reviewed. This means that the articles in the periodical are reviewed and evaluated by a group of experts in the field. The full-text of many of the articles covered is available online.
